Boeing 767 Landing Gear Packaging

SOLVING A CRITICAL PACKAGING CHALLENGE FOR BOEING 767 MAIN LANDING GEAR SUPPLIERS

Challenge

Boeing 767 Main Landing Gear components require mirrored symmetry, which when packaging, traditionally needs separate crates for the left and right-hand versions. During high-demand periods, maintaining stock of both proved challenging, leading to ordering errors, shipping delays, and added costs for our client.

Solution

We developed a custom crate that secures either side of the landing gear, eliminating the need for separate crates and ensuring the correct crate is always available.

 

Outcome

This custom packaging for aerospace components reduced stocking costs and eliminated incorrect crate usage, leading to smoother operations and cost savings for Boeing’s suppliers.
