ANTISTATIC PACKAGING PRODUCT

There are many anti-static packaging materials available, anti-static products are used to prevent the build-up of static electricity, when anti-static material comes in contact with static charges the static dissipates. These materials are usually pink in colour and used to protect components that are not sensitive to electrostatic discharge but, are going to be used in an electrostatic-sensitive environment.

PRODUCT DETAIL:

HOW DOES ANTISTATIC PACKAGING PROTECT MY PRODUCTS?
Antistatic packaging prevents the build-up of static electricity and dissipates static charges, protecting components from electrostatic discharge during shipping and handling.

WHAT TYPES OF ANTI-STATIC PACKAGING PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Bubble Wrap – Antistatic bubble is available in standard cell sizes and roll widths with slits and perforations if desired. It is commonly used for protecting against impact, as void-fill for cushioning in packages, or wrapping fragile items.

Stretch Wrap – Antistatic stretch wrap is used to wrap machines or for palletizing cartons with static sensitive content or to wrap product being shipped to a static sensitive location.

  • These anti-static materials may be used inside of a static shielding package if required.
  • Anti-static packaging materials should be stored appropriately before use to ensure maximum product performance.
  • The performance of these materials may deteriorate with use and therefore should be inspected before re-use.
