FILAMENT TAPE

Filament tape, also known as strapping tape, is a strong tape with fiberglass filaments and a high tack adhesive. With its high strength, aggressive adhesive and water resistance it is ideal for many applications including reinforcing cartons, bundling items together, and as a replacement for light duty strapping applications.

Cantech 17900 Filament Tape Specifications:
  •  Synthetic rubber / resin adhesive with fiberglass filament laminated to polypropylene film backing.
  • Available in the following widths: 12mm, 24mm, 36mm, 48mm, 72mm.
  • Thickness: 4.0mil
  • Tensile Strength: 110lbs/inch

Filament tape dispensers are available to increase the speed and maintain consistent application, this tape can also be dispensed from an ordinary hand-held packing tape gun if desired.
